What is AI visibility?

AI visibility is whether an AI answer engine surfaces your site when someone asks it about what you do. It has two separate parts: whether the engine retrieves you during its search, and whether its answer actually names you. A site can be retrieved and never quoted.

Why can AI engines not read my page?

AI crawlers do not execute JavaScript. A page assembled in the browser is blank to them however complete it looks to a person. The other common causes are robots.txt blocking AI answer crawlers such as OAI-SearchBot or PerplexityBot, and missing structured data.

How is the AIVS score calculated?

AIVS combines Visibility, measured by asking live AI engines category questions and recording whether your domain is retrieved and cited, with Citability, a weighted score over ten static checks of the page HTML, robots.txt and llms.txt. Every figure is labelled as measured or modeled.
